This requires a fair degree of precision, but if it could be mastered, it could substantially boost average take. Despite the graphic, the only bonus for this is receiving the combined poundage of both fish. Differing animations do happen in the darkening, but this is infrequent enough that I've not recognized a pattern if it exists.Īdditionally, you can get multiple fish with the same harpoon. An excellent bonus if you can trigger it, and it's an easy shot, but so far as I'm aware, no obvious tells. It appears to have roughly a 10% chance to come out whenever the screen darkens(which happens based on a timer when the game is being actively played), and is worth 700-1000ish points. Jackpot #2 is a jellyfish that will rarely come out of the treasure chest in the center. Not too worried about this getting nerfed, simply because of the auto-adjusting shark. Two sharks(and three setups for your teammate, because blocking happens in this game) will bag you roughly 162 tickets, which is respectable. No real tell for this I can see, just gotta play a round, and once they start rolling, finish out the game on 90 lb fish and play something else. Get too many of them, and they'll start doing a roll to avoid your shot. Getting two sharks in a single play isn't too hard, but the sharks are limited. The outer layer consists of 60 lb fish, so it's really only a 2 ticket opportunity cost to get a shot at the shark, which is worth 60 tickets. It's generally far easier to bag this with a teammate, who opens a hole for you.

You can directly shoot it by worming a shot through the outer layer, but it requires very good timing and placement. It traverses the screen very frequently, with a layer of ablative smaller sharks around it. You will need to do at least a little bit of this, as the harpoon will auto-shoot if you wait too long, and as the fish scatter slightly when you make a shot, shooting occasionally helps preserve shots on sharks. The big orange fish and the pink octopus run 90 each, and are trivial to shoot repeatedly, for a very easy base 60 tickets/game without jackpots. You'll earn a base 1 ticket/15 lbs shot, and fish come in 20/60/90 sizes. Harpoon's a 6.8/3.4, and that gets you 10 shots.
